Many visitors assume the fare to Disney equals the fare to central Tokyo; it does not. This guide compares the ways to reach Disney from Narita and Haneda and lists our private-car fares.
Trains and buses: fine for light travellers
The usual rail route is to ride into Tokyo Station and change to the Keiyo Line for Maihama; airport buses to the resort area are another option. Timetables, fares and journey times vary by season and time of day, so this guide gives no figures. Please check the official sources:

For one or two people with light bags staying near Maihama Station, trains and buses work well. But arrival day often means a long flight behind you, a stroller and big suitcases, and a change of lines through the passages of Tokyo Station — hard going with children or older relatives.
Private car door to door: fares
One-way, per vehicle: Haneda fares are reference starting fares; Narita fares are tax included. Drive times are rough off-peak estimates and vary with traffic and holidays. Tolls and parking are included.

- Per-vehicle pricing: 6 people in an Alphard from Haneda works out to about ¥2,500 each; 10 people in a Hiace from Narita, about ¥3,000 each.
- 90 minutes of free waiting at arrivals: flight delays or slow immigration queues are covered.
- Child seats available: up to 3 child safety seats and 2 booster seats per booking.
- Late-night surcharge: a flat ¥4,000 for 22:00–06:00.
- 24-hour service: early-morning arrivals and late-night returns can be arranged.

Which should you choose?
- One or two people, light luggage, hotel near Maihama Station: train or bus is cheaper.
- Three or more people, stroller or large luggage: a private car can cost about the same per person as public transport, with no changes.
- Staying at an official or partner hotel: the car stops at the hotel entrance, so there is no extra walk with luggage.
- Late-night or early-morning arrival: a private car is not bound by last trains and buses.
