Sakura Travel ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use this website and our airport transfer and charter services.
1. Information We Collect
When you submit our booking, quote, or contact forms, or reach us via online chat, we may collect: • Name, phone number, email address • Trip details (departure airport/location, destination, date and time, party size, vehicle preference, flight number) • Any other information you choose to provide in notes or conversation
2. How We Use Your Information
• To provide quotes and to arrange and confirm your transfer or charter • To contact you regarding your booking and answer enquiries • To improve this website and our service quality
3. Who We Share It With
To deliver the service, we may share necessary information with: • The driver / fleet assigned to your trip • Service providers: Airtable (data storage), Cloudflare (Turnstile anti-abuse verification), Vercel (website hosting), Google (Google Workspace email: enquiry notifications and confirmation emails), Telegram (internal enquiry notifications) • Anthropic (AI live chat): messages you type into the chat window on this site are sent to Anthropic's Claude model to generate a reply. Please do not enter sensitive details such as card or ID numbers in the chat. • Meta Platforms (advertising measurement): when you submit a form, we report the conversion to Meta over two paths. (1) Our server sends your email address and phone number in irreversibly hashed form (SHA-256). (2) The Meta Pixel on this site may also send the name, email address and phone number from the form, likewise hashed (Meta's "Automatic Advanced Matching" feature). Both paths additionally transmit your IP address, browser information and Meta cookie identifiers. We never send your name, email address or phone number in plain text, and we do not send your gender, date of birth or postal address. We do not sell your personal information.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage to remember your language preference, and the cookies required by Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent abuse. We also use the Meta Pixel for advertising measurement and remarketing. It sets Meta cookies (such as _fbp) and records events including pages viewed, form starts and form submissions. You can manage this tracking through your browser settings, or through the ad preferences in your Meta account. We also use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and usage; it sets Google cookies (such as _ga). In addition, we keep the page you first arrived on and any advertising source parameters (utm) in your browser's session storage and send them with your form submission, so that we know where enquiries come from. This data is cleared when you close the tab.
5. Payment Information
Deposits are collected on Stripe's secure payment page. Your card details are processed by Stripe; this website never collects or stores your card number. The payment method for the balance is confirmed with our dedicated consultant when your booking is finalized.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the service and as required by law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
