Route details: Haneda to Yokohama and Narita to Yokohama.

Why Haneda is the easier choice for Yokohama

  • Shorter drive: about 25–40 minutes from Haneda versus about 85–100 minutes from Narita, which saves over an hour after a long flight.
  • Lower fare: ECO is on request from Haneda and on request from Narita.
  • More slack: with a short drive, a delayed flight is less likely to disrupt hotel check-in or a meeting.

If Narita is your only option, a direct car to Yokohama still spares you the train transfers across Tokyo with your luggage.
