Planning Car Service for a Tokyo Business Trip: Airport Pickup, Client-Visit Charter and Departure

· Updated

A Tokyo business trip's car service splits into three parts: pickup, a day charter and departure. Haneda from on request and Narita from on request (ECO, tax included); a 10-hour Tokyo charter from on request.

A Tokyo business trip tends to run on fixed times: you need to reach the hotel or meeting on arrival day, be punctual on client-visit days, and leave enough margin on departure day. Splitting car service into three parts — pickup, day charter and departure — lets you book each to match the schedule. This guide sets out the prices and how to combine them.

Prices for the three parts

Transfers are priced per vehicle, regardless of the number of passengers, and are the same across central Tokyo. The figures below are one-way, per vehicle, tax included:

Airport ECO (5 seats) Alphard (7 seats) Hiace (10 seats) Drive time
Haneda on request ¥15,000 ¥17,000 about 30–45 min
Narita on request ¥22,000 ¥27,000 about 60–90 min
  • Tolls and parking are included; nothing is added afterwards.
  • Airport pickups include 90 minutes of free waiting.
  • A flat ¥4,000 surcharge applies between 22:00 and 06:00.

When you need to move between several places in one day, a Tokyo day charter fits. For 10 hours starting and ending in Tokyo: ECO on request Alphard ¥45,000 Hiace ¥50,000. Overtime is ¥3,000 per 30 minutes, and tolls and parking are included.

Example combinations (our own sums, for reference only)

Using ECO, in and out of Haneda with a charter day in between:

  • Haneda pickup on request + day charter on request + Haneda departure on request = on request

In and out of Narita:

  • Narita pickup on request + day charter on request + Narita departure on request = on request

These are simple sums of the listed prices and exclude the late-night surcharge and add-ons. Please confirm with our team at booking whether the departure transfer is priced the same as the pickup.

When a charter helps, and when a one-way transfer is enough

  1. One or two nearby stops in the day: a one-way transfer plus trains may be enough.
  2. Three or more stops on a tight schedule: a charter keeps the car with you, with no repeated hailing or searching for pickup points.
  3. Samples, display items or presentation equipment: luggage can stay in the car during the charter; choose the vehicle by piece count.
  4. Several colleagues travelling together: pricing is per vehicle, so the cost per person falls as the group grows.

If you only need a quick stop along the way, such as dropping luggage at the hotel first, just let us know in advance and we'll arrange it, up to 3 stops per booking.

Narita or Haneda

Haneda is closer to the city, with a drive of about 30–45 minutes and ECO from on request. Narita takes about 60–90 minutes, with ECO from on request. Choose according to your flight; see the routes for Haneda to Tokyo and Narita to Tokyo.
