- January 2027 entry: on sale from 10 November 2026, 14:00 Japan time.

Step two: match landing time to entry time
The drive from Chubu Airport to Nagakute is usually about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Add immigration and baggage claim, then compare:
- Entry time half a day or more after landing: you can go straight from the airport.
- Entry time close to landing: any flight delay could cost you the slot. Stay in central Nagoya on arrival night and visit the next day.

The official directions page states that there is no parking lot designated for Ghibli Park. By public transport, the Linimo line takes you to Ai-Chikyuhaku Kinen Koen Station, and the park is just outside Exit 2. The page also mentions shuttles from Chubu Centrair and from Meitetsu Bus Center at Nagoya Station.
The park is split into areas spread across the commemorative park: Ghibli's Grand Warehouse, Hill of Youth, Dondoko Forest, Mononoke Village and Valley of Witches. You will do a lot of walking, so suitcases are best left out of the park.
