When you compare airport transfer prices in Japan, quotes are hard to line up: the pricing unit, whether tolls are included and whether late-night service costs extra all differ. This guide puts Sakura Travel's one-way private car prices for six airports in one place, and states which are tax-included prices and which are reference from-prices.
Pricing rules first
- Per vehicle: the price covers one car one way, however many passengers ride in it. The more people share, the lower the cost per head.
- Tolls and parking included: nothing is added after the trip.
- Same price across Tokyo: from Narita or Haneda, every area within Tokyo Metropolis costs the same (Disney is in Chiba and is not covered by this rule).
- Late-night surcharge: a flat ¥4,000 for service between 22:00 and 06:00.
- 90 minutes of free waiting for airport pickups, so flight delays and long immigration queues are covered.
- 24-hour service.
Child seats and a name-sign meet-and-greet can also be arranged.

How to estimate your budget
- Pick the vehicle. ECO for 2–3 people with light luggage; Alphard for 4–6 people or more bags; Hiace for 7–10.
- Look up airport and destination. For the same destination, Haneda is usually cheaper than Narita because it is closer.
- Add conditions. ¥4,000 if your flight falls between 22:00 and 06:00. Extra stops on the way can be arranged on request.
- Divide by headcount. Four people in an ECO from Haneda to central Tokyo works out to about on request each.

- It depends on the airport and destination. - Is the price per person or per vehicle?
- Per vehicle, regardless of headcount, as long as you stay within seats and luggage capacity: ECO seats 5 with 4 bags, Alphard 7 with 6, Hiace 10 with 9.
- Are tolls and parking included?
- Yes. Prices are the same everywhere within Tokyo Metropolis, so your hotel's location in Tokyo does not change the fare. Disney is in Chiba Prefecture, so this does not apply to it.
- When are extra charges added?
- Service between 22:00 and 06:00 carries a flat ¥4,000 surcharge. Extra stops on the way can be arranged on request. Airport pickup includes 90 minutes of free waiting.
- Why are some prices marked "from"?
- Prices for Kansai, Chubu, New Chitose and Fukuoka, and for Haneda to Disney and Kawaguchiko, are reference from-prices (Narita to these two is tax included); the final amount and vehicle availability are confirmed by our team. "On request" means no public price for that vehicle.
