How to connect Yokohama cruise embarkation with Haneda or Narita. Tax-inclusive private car fares: Haneda to Yokohama from ¥17,000, Narita to Yokohama from ¥25,000, tolls and parking included.
Yokohama is one of Japan's main cruise ports. Cruise travellers usually carry more luggage than independent tourists, and boarding follows strict time windows, so a poorly timed airport connection can disrupt the whole trip. This guide sets out our private car fares between Haneda or Narita and Yokohama, and what to confirm before you book.
First, confirm which terminal your ship uses
Cruise ships may call at different berths within Yokohama Port, and boarding windows and meeting points vary by cruise line and sailing. Rely on the boarding documents or notice from your cruise line, and give us the terminal name when you book so the driver goes to the right place. We do not describe individual terminals' facilities or entry rules here; please check those with your cruise line or the terminal operator.

Three common cruise itineraries
1. Flying in and boarding the same day. Allow time for immigration, baggage and the drive, and check your cruise line's latest check-in time. Haneda is close to Yokohama and leaves more slack; from Narita, allow a larger buffer.
2. Disembarking and flying out. Disembarkation procedures and timing depend on the cruise line, so fix your pick-up time after you know your disembarkation slot. If your flight is the same day, be conservative about the time needed to disembark, collect luggage and drive.
3. Staying in Yokohama or Tokyo before or after the cruise. Have us take you to your hotel to drop luggage, then make your own way to the port. Our Central Tokyo fare is the same across all Tokyo wards; talk to our staff about trips combining Yokohama and Tokyo.
Choosing a vehicle for luggage-heavy groups
- 2 people, 2 suitcases: ECO is enough.
- 4–6 people or more than 4 suitcases: the Alphard (7 seats, 6 suitcases).
- Families or groups of 7–10: the Hiace (10 seats, 9 suitcases).
Full-day charter from Tokyo
If you want to see Yokohama before or after your sailing, a 10-hour full-day charter from and back to Tokyo is priced per vehicle: ECO on request Alphard ¥50,000 Hiace ¥55,000. Overtime is ¥3,000 per 30 minutes. Extra stops on the way can be arranged on request. Please confirm details with our staff when booking.
What to have ready when booking
