Sanrio Puroland from Haneda Airport: Kids, Luggage and Parking

Getting from Haneda to Sanrio Puroland with kids and bags: official Tama Center route, parking that closes to new cars at noon, same-day lockers only.

If you are landing at Haneda with kids and want to reach Sanrio Puroland the same day, the route itself is not the hard part. What matters is where the bags go, whether little legs can manage the walk, and what time you need to be at the car park. Puroland sits at Tama-Center, well west of central Tokyo, and the park's own access page puts the Haneda airport limousine bus at roughly 90 to 140 minutes.

What the park lists for trains: about 30 minutes from Shinjuku, plus a change

Puroland's access page lists the Keio Line express from Shinjuku to Keio Tama-Center at about 30 minutes, about 60 minutes from Yokohama via the JR Yokohama Line to Hashimoto, about 12 minutes on the Odakyu Line from Shin-Yurigaoka, and about 23 minutes on the Tama Monorail from Tachikawa (official access page). From Haneda there is no direct line, so you first travel to the Shinjuku area, then transfer to Keio. With large suitcases and children in tow, the transfer is what makes the trip tiring, more than the minutes on the clock.

From Tama-Center Station to the entrance

The official directions: leave through the central gate (Keio) or the west gate (Odakyu), turn left, go straight, turn left at the crossroads past Oka no Ue Plaza, and the park is ahead. No walking time is given, so we won't guess one. Two details matter for families:

  • The entrance is on the 3rd floor. The park recommends the elevated walkway for strollers and wheelchairs, with a wheelchair slope next to the stairs.
  • A baby center on the 1st floor offers nursing, baby food feeding, diaper changing and hot water for milk (official service guide).

Driving in: the underground car park closes to new cars at noon

Decide your drop-off point before you arrive. According to the access page:

  • The underground car park has about 80 spaces and admits cars only until 12:00 noon; maximum vehicle height is 2.1 m.
  • When it is full or past noon, use the shared Tama Center car parks: Higashi 1 (about 1,200 spaces), Chuo 1 (about 800) and Chuo 3 (about 200), open around the clock.
  • The page notes its parking details date from January 2023, so check again before you travel.

Whether a car can stop right outside the park is not something we can promise in advance. Tell us your planned entry and exit times when booking, and our team will confirm the arrangement.

Luggage: lockers are same-day only

The service guide says the 3rd-floor lockers come in several sizes and can only be used on the day of your visit. No luggage size limit is listed. If you land in the morning with two or three suitcases and a child to hold by the hand, it is easier to have the car take your bags to the hotel first, then go to Tama with light day bags. For adding a hotel stop on the same ride, see adding a stop to an airport transfer; for how many bags fit which vehicle, see the luggage guide.

Haneda to Tama: pricing and route

The Haneda to Tama-Center ride is not on our public price list, so please ask our team for a quote; all quotes are confirmed by a real agent. For standard rides into the city, see Haneda Airport to central Tokyo. Journey time depends on traffic. Please tell us your flight, planned entry time and hotel location when you book.

To plan your Haneda arrival, luggage and park entry time together, send us your flight, itinerary and party size on the booking page and our team will confirm the pickup and drop-off.
